Whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord!

It is not only about physical death, but about dying to sin. The Bible urges us to watch over our earthly walk, but with great care. The Bible also tells us that it is good for a person to enjoy all they have and have worked for, but that nothing should take hold of their heart, because God does not want a divided heart, but one fully surrendered to the Lord.

Dying to sin is the longest process that unfolds in the person who seeks to become godly, who seeks to be sanctified. It is a battle against evil, which comes in various ways to test our faithfulness to the Father.

So, whether we live or die is not merely a saying, but a process through which we sanctify our hearts before the Lord, to whom we have promised to follow. It is a process through which we refine our character, one that will bring joy to the Father if we have truly walked in the will of God.

Are we ready to say, like Paul, that we are confident we will be at the finish line of the race with the Lord?
